The Veteran Gamers - A UK (ish) gaming Podcast

This week the format goes out the window, why? Eurogamer, that's why. Stu and Chinny join Bongo (G4TE), Chris and Rob (The Boss Wave) to talk about the games they have played (or not played) at Eurogamer.

Another episode will come out later this week with even more content. You lucky people you!

Welcome to show 245.

This week Stu has finally got past his point in Destiny that he played to in the Beta, Chinny finished Assassin's Creed 4 and started Watchdogs (but did he like it?) and Duke played loads of stuff, which of course included Minecraft.

In this weeks show we also looked ahead to Eurogamer to see what we would be playing aside from meeting people and maybe getting a little bit drunk at the Midlife Gamer after show party.

As always we rounded out the show with all the social media stuff.

Enjoy.

This week we eventually got going when Chinny stopped fiddling with his nobs and finally got everything to work.

Incidentally Chinny finally finished Sniper Elite V3, Duke is still playing Minecraft and Stu is the only one playing Destiny.

In the news Minecraft is getting sold to Microsoft, Xbox One sales are on the rise and EA gives its opinion on the new Apple Watch and how it can be used for gaming.

As always we round out with Speakpipes, Emails and all the other social media stuff and by the way the sound quality is back to normal this week!

Enjoy.

Welcome to show 242.

This week Chinny went AWOL in Devon and we had to go out and find a suitable replacement! Luckily Robin Brown from the Boss Wave Podcast was ready and willing to step in and fill Chinny's sizeable and smelly shoes.

We talked games including Minecraft, The Walking Dead season two, Deadlight, Hotel Dusk and Duke finally finished The Last of Us (how long did that take!?)

This week in the news we covered Anita Sarkeesian receiving online abuse and why it is wrong, the new Nintendo 3DS and Super Meat Boy Forever coming to mobile devices.

We round out with emails, speakpipes and social media stuff.

Enjoy!
